The Ministry of National Education announced this in a communiqué issued on Thursday, August 7, 2025. In this communiqué, it is specified that the 2025-2026 school year in Haiti will include 186 school days, and 11 holidays. The number of school days will be distributed as follows: 844 hours for preschool, 930 hours for basic education and 1,116 hours for secondary education.

US President Donald Trump signed his budget bill into law with great fanfare Friday at the White House on Independence Day, during a ceremony marked by an aerial parade of B-2 stealth bombers, the aircraft used in the raids on Iran.
